WOD for the Fallen is a day of functional fitness style challenges, instruction, food and fun!

The first WOD for the Fallen was a success! Check out some pictures from the competition.

WOD for the Fallen

All profits go to SC Run for the Fallen. In years past the run was done with no budget, but this year with your help we’ll be able to properly pay policemen/women and close streets so the run is accessible for everyone to participate! WOD for the Fallen workouts are very approachable and for all! Don’t want to workout, it’s OK – consider donating to raise money to go towards to run.

We do this to honor every South Carolina service member who has died since September 11, 2001.

The design of the challenge is so that individuals and teams may compete, have fun and learn. You don’t need to be a “games level” athlete to compete and win. Though competition is sure to be there, we are still focused on making this a great first-timer type of event.

The third annual South Carolina Run for the Fallen is scheduled for November 4-5, 2017, in a reflection of remembrance. This particular run showcases teams of volunteer runners to complete segments of a 120 mile run to honor every South Carolina service member who has died since September 11, 2001. We will be culminating this event with a 5K memorial run through downtown Columbia ending at the State House for a short ceremony. Each mile of the run is dedicated to a fallen South Carolina Hero. The run team stops at every mile marker where they present an American Flag and a biographical card in honor of a fallen service member in an effort to create a 120 mile memorial trail through South Carolina.
